Those in the group at present are Sister Joan, Sister Helen and Sister Denise from the FCJ community in Richmond, Sister Yvonne (a Josephite), John Brophy, Therese Keogh and Pat O’Halloran and the Parish Priest.  A number of these are trained in spiritual counselling and direction. Those seeking such direction should contact the Parish Office.

The group has been meeting once a month and takes responsibility for taking up suggestions that might foster faith and love of the parish community – speakers on questions of faith and justice, special Masses and celebrations, prayer, retreats, etc.

For the Advent 2012 season the group has planned to offer “Retreat in Daily Life”, a Day of Recollection during Advent, a penitential service in Advent, another Anointing Mass and lunch for the sick and elderly, speakers on topics of faith and justice, as well as promoting the Examen prayer.
