Jesus, gift of love and hope for our world

This pandemic has seen Victorians experience such a long period of physical separation from one another, watching as families and individuals have faced immense loss and challenges, waiting for the day when we would emerge as a community once again.

Celebration of the Eucharist

From 11:59pm on Sunday 22 November 2020, Victoria moved to the Last Step on the Victorian Roadmap to Reopening. This means that indoor public Masses can now resume for up to a cap of 150 people plus one faith leader with a density quotient of 1 person per 4 sqm.

While our church buildings gradually reopen, and parishioners and visitors begin to join us for Mass, we are aware that in reality the Church - the People of God, Body of Christ, and Temple of the Holy Spirit - is always very much with us, just as Jesus remains with us. In this time of being apart we discover ways to participate in Masses and tap into other resources for our faith formation and nourishment, supporting one another and continuing to be a part of the life of the Church.
