Vietnam is being hit hard by a fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic. In the past few months of being locked down because of the pandemic, millions of migrant workers have had very limited financial support from their workplace or local government.

Today we pray for the following Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ) Jubilarians, two of whom are members of the Richmond community, celebrating significant milestones in their love and service of God and neighbour:

May we, who are experiencing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia and in our small world, and are coming to terms with the new reality, remember the words of Scripture:

"Be still and know that I am God." (Ps 46:10)
