Introducing the new Principal of Trinity Catholic School
The 2021 school year starts with a new Principal at our local Catholic primary school. We warmly welcome Mr Nigel Rodrigues to the parish community who shares the following message with you:
It is with much enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Trinity Catholic School. It will be my great privilege to lead this community as I commence my role this year. Having held many senior leadership positions, including School Principal, in a number of Catholic Primary Schools, it is my hope that I will bring much experience and energy to this already wonderful school.
The role of Principal can be an extremely challenging one that requires the support of all parents, staff and students. I look forward to building the strong relationships needed to enable all of us to work together to ensure each family’s experience is a truly amazing one. Having completed further studies in both school leadership and student wellbeing enables me to place each child at the centre of everything we do. My job this year will be to ensure each teacher and staff member is able to achieve their very best so that they can provide the best possible learning opportunities for our children. As I take on this new position I am once again reminded of the importance of family and would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you my wife Paula, who is also a teacher at St Mary’s East St Kilda, and my three children Renata, David and Daniel who are all adults now and pursuing their own careers. I understand fully the responsibilities and the challenges of raising a family and am totally committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all the families at Trinity.
I look forward with much excitement to the beginning of the school year and to becoming a part of a community I have already heard so many wonderful things about.
Mr Nigel Rodrigues
