As 08 December 2020 to 08 December 2021 has been proclaimed as the Year of St Joseph by Pope Francis, his message for this special day of prayer focuses on Saint Joseph: The Dream of Vocation.

"Together with God’s call, which makes our greatest dreams come true, and our response, which is made up of generous service and attentive care, there is a third characteristic of Saint Joseph’s daily life and our Christian vocation, namely fidelity. Joseph is the “righteous man” (Mt 1:19) who daily perseveres in quietly serving God and his plans." -- Message Of His Holiness Pope Francis for the 2021 World Day of Vocations

Jesuits serve God and His Church in a variety of ways including missionary activities and working in parishes, seminaries, schools, and universities.  Jesuits also collaborate with lay men and women who share this vision of service to faith and to the justice that faith demands.
