This year we have livestreamed our Sunday Masses in English at 9:30am and in Vietnamese at 4:00pm on Facebook. The good news is that now we will also have these on YouTube. Please subscribe to our YouTube (English) or YouTube (Vietnamese) channel to get instant updates whenever new video content is available on the channel.

Vietnam is being hit hard by a fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic. In the past few months of being locked down because of the pandemic, millions of migrant workers have had very limited financial support from their workplace or local government.

Today we pray for the following Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ) Jubilarians, two of whom are members of the Richmond community, celebrating significant milestones in their love and service of God and neighbour:

May we, who are experiencing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia and in our small world, and are coming to terms with the new reality, remember the words of Scripture:

"Be still and know that I am God." (Ps 46:10)

I would like to wish all fathers a blessed Father’s Day. Even though disappointed that we are still in lockdown and many of us are unable to see our fathers and/or children, we can still be consoled with the many happy memories of the special and sacred gift of having fathers and being fathers.

We respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation as the traditional caretakers of the land which is the Richmond Catholic Parish.  We acknowledge the Elders, past and present.  May we, too, be good stewards of this land.
