Marriage
Congratulations on your decision to get married in the Catholic Church. The Sacrament of Matrimony establishes a lifelong union between a man and a woman, and the mutual love between husband and wife becomes an image of the absolute and unfailing love with which God loves humankind. The Catholic Church teaches that marriage is a Christian vocation.
A Catholic wedding ceremony can be held at St Ignatius' Church or St James' Church. In deciding to get married at either of these churches you are indicating a willingness to invest some time and effort into the preparation and ceremony for your wedding. The months leading up to your wedding should be a time of joy.
